The copper finish is a PVD finish. It will not tarnish like copper nor will it flake or chip like paint.
Accuracy will definitely be improved. The degree of accuracy improvement will depend on your ability. We normally see 1"-1.5" groups at 25yds with a variety of ammunition with our barrels. The OEM barrels average 2.5"+
