Wheaton Arms Guide Rod Assembly, Black, Fits Glock 19, 19X, 23, 23 Gen 5, 32 , G45 Gen 4 & 5
Wheaton Arms Glock guide rod assembly, black nitride finish, stainless steel 1pc guiderod helps prevent spring bind and adds static weight to the front of the pistol. Flat wound recoil spring is designed for the rigors of competition with the reliability of a duty weapon.
(Black Nitride finish guiderod adapter included)
Comes with a 17lb flat wound recoil spring. This spring is designed to reduce recoil & muzzle flip by reducing the reciprocating mass of the slide assembly. This is the lightest recoil spring recommended for the Glock 19, 19x, 19 Gen 5, G45, G23, G23 Gen 5 & G32 to maintain reliability. If the recoil spring is any lighter, the slide can unlock during the firing sequence causing a light primer strike or failure to fire.
Fits Glock models 19, 19X, 23, 23 Gen 5, 32, G45 Gen 4 and Gen 5

We use a 17lb spring for the G45 Gen 5 9mm pistol. This is the lightest spring you can use in a G19 length slide and still have 100% reliability. Lots of people try the 15lb spring and end up with light primer strikes because the slide is not all the way in battery. The 17lb spring works great with any factory 9mm ammunition. Tungsten steel is a little heavier than stainless steel. It is also at least twice the price of stainless steel.
