Wheaton Arms Deployment Comp 5.56 with Black Nitride QPQ finish

The Wheaton Arms Deployment Comp was designed with the tactical Law Enforcement and Military rifleman in mind. Using Feedback from the Special Operations community, Wheaton Arms designed the Deployment Comp to minimize rearward concussion, side blast, recoil & muzzle rise all in a package only .100” longer than a standard birdcage flash hider; NO EASY TASK but we did it! The Deployment Comp does all this and more. There are many compensators on the market that provide a significant reduction in felt recoil and muzzle climb but are not purpose built for tactical applications. Drastically increased blast and shock, large visual signature and looking like you took your muzzle device off a Abrams tank do not lent themselves to room clearing, team drills or even flat range training. (The shooter to the left and right should not be flinching while you are firing.) The deployment Comp provides excellent recoil and muzzle climb reduction while providing a minimal increase in perceived sound signature. (The shooter to your left and right will no longer curse you on range day.) Wheaton Arms designed this compensator with low visibility in mind utilizing the dimensions of the A2 birdcage flashhider to maintain the tactical intention of the Deployment Comp. The advantages of maintaining the (Birdcage) dimensions are most over the birdcage muzzle attachments will still work with the Deployment Comp. Features: 2.1”oal, 33mm od QPQ Nitride finish for durability, & comes with one crush washer for timing during installation.

  1. Tried it out today on a rem 700 sps tactical 223 1in9 twist, 16.5″ I was testing another gun and just grabbed 5 77gr smk’s. Allot of people say this twist won’t stabilize that heavy a bullet, now this gun always has, at least at 100yrds stabilized a77 but was never very accurate prefers 69’s. Just to test this brake I sent five and it was the best group this gun had ever done with 77’s. So the gun was more accurate with this brake. For me anyway. Now as for the brake you do get a little blast back but not bad and recoil reduction was very good. It’s not coming off, it’s a winner! Buying another now.
