Wheaton Arms Stainless steel 1pc guiderod helps prevent spring bind and adds static weight to the front of the pistol. Flat wound recoil spring is designed for the rigors of competition with the reliability of a duty weapon.

Comes with a 15lb flat wound recoil spring. This spring is designed to reduce recoil & muzzle flip by reducing the reciprocating mass of the slide assembly while still maintaining the reliability & durability of the OEM spring weight.

Can this be used with a micro compensator? I was worried about reliability with the heavier spring. Also, don’t any specials or promo codes for a new customer? Thank you! Jeff Jeff asked on December 11, 2024

Yes, our guiderod assembly will work well with a micro compensator. You can also change the recoil spring by removing the screw in the end of the guidrod. We offer springs starting at 11lbs for the G17.
